16993 Category: Local news Emerging reports claimed that states chairmen of the APC on Sunday, September 2, stormed Abuja over the confusion that trailed the NEC decision on mode of primaries to be adopted for the party’s primaries ahead of the 2019 elections. Nigerian Tribune reports that the states chairmen were not pleased with the position of the NEC on the mode of primaries to adopt the party flagbearers for the 2019 elections. It was learnt that some National Working Committee (NWC) members of the party were not also in support of the Direct primary reportedly earlier adopted by the NEC for choosing presidential candidate of the party.
